How it works

From an inquiry
to an optional introduction.

  1. Tell us about your company.

Share your contact details and company name. Add any background you have handy. You don’t need to send the records themselves.

  2. We review your inquiry.

We may follow up to discuss the kinds of records you have and whether they could interest a buyer.

  3. You decide whether to connect.

If your records appear to match a buyer’s requirements, we ask whether you’d like an introduction. You and the buyer then review the records and discuss any licensing agreement.

Common questions

Questions about
licensing your records.

What is company data licensing?

A licensing agreement lets a buyer use specified records for agreed purposes. Your company and the buyer agree on what can be used and how. Licensing does not necessarily transfer ownership of the records.

What kinds of companies are a fit?

Buyer requirements vary. Companies with several years of recorded projects or operations may have useful material. You don’t need to know whether your records are a fit before getting in touch.

What do I need to send?

Just your contact details and basic company information. Please leave out the records themselves and any confidential information.

Can records include customer or employee information?

Privacy, confidentiality, and contractual obligations can restrict what you’re allowed to share. Get advice from qualified legal counsel before licensing records that include customer or employee information.

What does this cost?

The initial inquiry is free, and sending one does not commit you to a licensing agreement.

What happens after I submit?

We review your inquiry and may follow up by email to discuss the records your company has. We ask for your permission before sharing your company name or contact details with a buyer.
